Its Matrix softshell fabric stretches for full mobility on the mountain, and it breathes well so you can breathe easily through sketchy, sweaty cruxes. Rab reinforced the hood, elbows, and hips for extra abrasion resistance from harnesses and the occasional offwidth. The hood slides over your helmet for extra coverage when belaying at the top of a particularly brisk pitch.
